Terms of Service

1. Introduction

These terms of service ("Terms") govern your use of the Carso platform, including the dealer dashboard, chat widget, and all related services. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. The Service

Carso provides an AI-powered chat widget that dealers embed on their websites. The widget uses artificial intelligence to respond to visitor enquiries about vehicle stock, book test drives, and capture lead information on behalf of the dealer.

3. Accounts

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • One account per dealership unless otherwise agreed.
  • You must be 18 or older to create an account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the AI model.
  • Misrepresent the AI as a human agent without disclosure.
  • Upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt the service.

5. AI Disclaimer

Carso's AI assistant generates responses based on the vehicle data provided by the dealer. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated responses may occasionally contain errors. Dealers are responsible for ensuring their vehicle listing data is accurate and up to date. Carso is not liable for decisions made by visitors based on AI-generated information.

6. Pricing and Payment

The free pilot tier includes up to 50 conversations per month at no charge. Paid tiers, when available, will be billed monthly. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of any pricing changes. You may cancel at any time.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Carso shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you have paid to Carso in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement at any time. Upon termination, your account will be deactivated and your data will be retained for 90 days before deletion, in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
